I had a party for the 4th of july. sometime in the night a 14 year old girl had come into my party without my knowledge. Someone had given her alcohol, well the party nears its end and everyone goes home but me and 4 of my male friends. after we had went to sleep the 14 year old girl returns to my house through my backdoor that does not lock properly. The next morning the cops wake me up asking what the girl was doing in my home. I told them i had no clue. The parents freak out thinking someone had done something to her, took her into a hospital to get a rape kit done. About 4 hours later the cops comes back out and arrests me for contributing to the delinquency. A misdimeanor, upon arresting me he says "it looks like no one has touched her, but i have to arrest you for contributing" So i go to jail. no questioning on anything. So should i be worrying about more than the delinquency charge? And wouldnt we al have been questioned on this by now if there were something else? help plz

i asked my friends mother who is a cop and she said that you shouldn't worry that if it was n e thing else they would have told you by now. but if thats all that happened then there is nothing else they can charge you with and all that should happen is you will have to pay some money.
other than that you should be good to go
you will get hit with some fines and thats about it. you can prolly ask a judge for a reduction in fines if you do community service or something. also try callin a public defender and ask for advice.
Unless they have a reason to find your semen in the girl, then you have nothing to worry about. You were arrested for contributing because it was your house, so you are responsible in that way, but if you are innocent of everything else, then you have nothing to worry about.
You should hire a lawyer immediately, especially if the overzealous parents are interested in a civil suit. If you actually don't know what happened at the party to the girl, you should defintely seek legal counsel.

Whoever was hosting the party and therefore provided the alcohol usually gets all the blame.
Tough break, hopefully the police will understand what really happened.
You should definitely talk to the girl's parents, police, someone. If anything, she should be charged with juvenile delinquency or underage alcohol consumption (since you didn't actually hand her the drink and only made alcohol available because you didn't expect a minor to show up!

i honestly don't know. it is a good thing that she was taken in for an exam though - this could be a big help! i would check with a lawyer. maybe even several - they give free consultations, and after getting several of those, you should know where you stand.
